fb russia blackmail etc.
Remember when facebook instituted a mandatory verification program for anyone using and alias if they in any way made money with that alias? I seem to remember they were targeting anyone with an alias even if they didn't make money, meaning they were running a verification program on everyone. Remember when they told LGTB people that they had to either pay facebook or their real names would be revealed? Using the threat of outing someone and demanding money is, in my book, blackmail. Facebook did this several years ago
Apparently facebook didn't include russian bots and aliases in the verification program. The russians have opperated on facebook now for at least two years, even though facebook has had a verification program for much longer than that.
Today News & Guts posted:
"Facebook will now verify the identities of any advertiser who wants to post political ads and those who own large Facebook pages. “These steps by themselves won’t stop all people trying to game the system. But they will make it a lot harder for anyone to do what the Russians did during the 2016 election and use fake accounts and pages to run ads,” Zuckerberg declared."
Hmmm....
Dear Mr. Zuckerberg. I wish to participate in your new(ish) verification program, but also wish to point out that the consolatory offering of at-least-we've-done-something-even-though-it-won't-work is unbecoming of such a worldly (and may I say enormous) corporation as yours.
Towards this end I am offering the following information.
Russians are secretly gay. In fact, any attempt to accurately descibe the russian government, and it's intelligence service in particular, can not be accomplished without using words like: Bear, Zhoosh, Howdy, Twink, Uros. Just look at putin himself who is so violently anti-gay that even my Aunt Edith in Beaver's Dorf Wisconsin knows his bravado is only a thin veneer on his closet door.
The Mercers are all power bottom T-flavors who have long expressed an interest in sleeping with each other but ironically never have fully consummated the endeavor – as each one wishes to receive... everything, and give nothing.
Cambridge Analytica? The word Cambride was added to the company's name name for the prestige, respectability, intelligence and authority it implies. And yet, the second half of their name is only thinly disguised. Practitioners of anal-ytica draw upon millions of techniques to perfect their art. It is an exhaustive undertaking but well worth the results, if you are into such things. A word to the wise however, the Cambridge Analytica style anal-yiticers have been known to take short cuts of dubious nature, and compromising methods, to extort results. In my opinion they are unclean, but that's just a preference, so hey, I don't judge, these daddy boys might just be right up your alley.
Sincerely,
Mark Glaeser
P.S. Yes, that is my real name.
P.P.S. Please do not think ill of me Mr. Zuckerberg, but you really are a twat waffle.
